Recipes

Kohlrabi Slaw
3 cups Kohlrabi, shredded
1 cup Carrots, grated
½ cup Onions, sliced thin
½ cup Cider Vinegar
½ cup sugar
1 Tbsp Canola or Sunflower Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste

Combine Ingredients well,
Refrigerate.


Radish Salad
12 Radishes, smashed
2 Tbsp Tamari
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp Sesame Oil

Combine all ingredients, Refrigerate overnight.
Makes a great side-dish for dinner or a picnic.


Tamari Ginger-Seared Pac Choi
4 heads Pac Choi, cut in half
2 Tbsp Ginger, chopped
2 Tbsp Tamari
2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
Sesame Seeds for garnish

Lightly steam the Pac Choi, set aside...
Heat Sesame Oil in Saute pan,
Add Ginger, then Pac Choi, cut-side down
Allow to brown, thenadd Tamari.
Sprinkle with Sesame Seeds


Broccoli Rabe with Rotini and Roasted Garlic
1 lb. Broccoli Rabe
8 cloves Garlic, sliced
1 lb. Rotini pasta, cooked
¼ White Wine or Vegetable Broth
6 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste

Toast Garlic in Olive Oil until golden
Add Broccoli Rabe, then Wine or Stock
Toss with Pasta, season with Salt & Pepper.


Sautéed Chard with Coconut
2 Tsp. Fresh Ginger, minced
1 Tsp. Black Mustard Seeds
½ Tsp. Turmeric
2 Bunches Chard, rinsed & rough-chopped
½ Cup Coconut Milk
¼ Cup Shredded, Unsweetened Coconut
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Sautee ginger, mustard seeds, & turmeric in a bit of oil.
Add chard, & cover to wilt chard.
Add coconut milk, coconut, and salt & pepper,
Cover & simmer until chard is tender.
